Dry eye syndrome can affect 5-15% of the population, increasing symptoms with age. An increase in screen usage, artificial lighting, air pollution and other elements of our modern lifestyle can make dry eye symptoms an ever-increasing nuisance.
 
Dry eye syndrome is commonly caused by insufficient tears or excessive evaporation. A large majority of cases are due to evaporation caused by insufficiency of the external lipid layer of the lacrymal film secreted by the Meibomian glands.

The Treatment

E-Eye generates sculpted regulated train pulses. The energy, spectrum and time are precisely set to stimulate the Meibomian glands in order for them to return to a normal function.

Protective eyewear is placed over the patient’s eyes, and optical gel is applied to the cheek and temporal area. A series of 5 flashes are applied under one eye and then repeated under the other. Sessions only take a few minutes with instant improvements.

For optimal results, it is recommended to run a full series of treatments:
