Darker tint

This unique photochromic lens provides remarkable comfort to wearers in the brightest sun and hot conditions. When activated, Transitions XTRActive is our darkest Transitions lens in all conditions. In fact it reaches up to category 3 darkness, and offers full UV protection. They are the only photochromic lens to achieve a category 3 level of darkness when it's hot(2). Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses are the darkest photochromic lens in the car, helping to protect your patients’ eyes from bright sunlight while driving(3).

 

Light protection

Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses filter blue-violet light indoors(3), and filter up to 90% blue-violet light outdoors(1). All Transitions(R) lenses, including Transitions XTRactive including Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses, block 100% of UVA and UVB rays to help protect your patients’ eyes from the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun. Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses return from a dark to a clear lens faster than ever, providing 35% faster fadeback than the previous generation(7). Transitions XTRActive New Generation lenses are clear indoors with a hint of protective tint; designed to help protect your patients’ eyes from harsh indoor lighting.
